We’ve finally settled into our new office, but in doing so, we were presented with a unique problem: too many plain, empty, blindingly white walls. But in true 1Point21 fashion, we’ve taken a problem and turned it into an opportunity.
Our solution came in the form of insanely talented artist and painter, Thomas “Detour” Evans. The Denver-based, MBA-turned-artist immediately stood out to us for his use of vibrant colors to create striking portraits that are equal parts awesome and beautiful.
Thanks to the power of modern camera technology, we can show you the entire process – no plutonium required! Are you ready to take a look back…to the future?
(See what I did there? I know, I’m embarrassed too, but my boss kept telling me to load up the puns)
As for the subject matter, we couldn’t resist the mug of the one and only Marty McFly. If you haven’t already made the connection, the name 1Point21 Interactive was derived from Doc Brown’s “1.21 gigawatts” line in the original Back to the Future movie. As Doc would say, if you’re going to build a time machine make some wall art, why not do it with some style?
